Disc dynamics & Evolution in Multiple YSOs
December 2021 (TBC)

In preparation!

The idea of this workshop is to gather researchers interested in multiple stellar systems with discs. There are basically two approaches to this topic: an observational one, which consists in studying nearby YSOs and characterizing their discs; and a theoretical counter-part, which consists in modeling these systems and understanding their evolution in general.

This will be an opportunity to present the latest results in the field, exchange ideas, share methods, and trigger "dynamical" discussions. The workshop will be hosted at the IPAG. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, this event will very likely be online or hybrid. If possible, we will accommodate a limited number of participants physically at the IPAG.

Some interesting questions to tackle: How does multiplicity affect disc dynamics and planet formation? How does multiplicity depend on the environment? What do recent observations tell us? How stable are planetary systems in multiple stellar systems? What are the characteristics of the emerging demographics of exoplanets in multiple stellar systems? Where shall we look for discs and planets?
